Brushing Tips

Flossing Tips

Brush after every meal.

Floss every day.

Use a brush with soft nylon bristles.

Use 18-20 inches of floss.

Replace your brush every 3 months.

Guide the floss between your teeth.  Don't 'snap' it down.

Use a gentle circular motion.

Be gentle.  Improper flossing can cut your gums.

Don't brush too hard.

If flossing is difficult, use a floss threader.
